More about us
ROMO Wind is a technology and service company and we are the exclusive provider of the iSpin spinner anemometer. The unique iSpin technology measures wind where it first hits the wind turbine, at the tip of the hub directly in front of the rotor. The technology is used to measure and optimise the wind turbines efficiency.
At ROMO Wind we employ about 30 people across Europe and the official company language is English. All development activities are located in Denmark at our office in Skejby, Aarhus. Most of our employees are either engineers, technicians or similarly highly educated specialists. You can find a more in-depth explanation of the company HERE.
About the department
The department Product Technology totals three software developers. The software we develop is partly for an embedded Linux target (C/C++) and partly for backend applications with cloud-based SQL databases (.NET/C#). The embedded target is installed in the wind turbine where its main purpose it to send measurement data to a central SCADA server (backend). For project management and source control we use gitlab and we have daily scrum meetings. We are a young and informal team.
We are looking for
A software specialist for our backend and service tools. We are periodically busy, and it is therefore important that you can work independently and can take control of your work. This also means that you will have influence on the daily decision making in the department. It is important that you work methodically and structured. You appreciate a good humoured and easy-going environment.
It is a full-time position.
