ROMO Wind is… 

a technology and service company and the exclusive provider of the patented iSpin technology. The unique iSpin spinner anemometer system is based on ultrasonic technology and measures and monitors wind conditions where it matters – directly at the spinner, in front of the rotor. We provide our customers with the best solutions for measuring, monitoring and improving wind turbine performance for a better return on their investment. 

At ROMO Wind we employ about 30 people across Europe with offices in Hamburg, Aarhus, Zug, as well as local sales representatives. The official company language is English. 

 

Your position description 

As Head of Sales in Germany you will be the face of the company on the German market. You will be responsible for the strategic business development in the German sales area as well as coordinate sales and marketing efforts for your region, along with our primary sales office in HamburgYou should expect to spend about 50% of your time traveling to customers in Germany. 

 

Key responsibilities  
  • Strategic business development in your sales area 
  • Fulfil order intake and revenue targets in your area 
  • Development of region-specific marketing concepts  
  • Organisation of cooperation with the central functions in the head office 
  • Development and monitoring of budgets 
  • Promoting communication between sales units 
  • Ensuring systematic offer tracking 
  • Support in the organisation, preparation and implementation of customer visits 
  • Market and competition observation 
As a person you are 

We are looking for the Head of Sales Germany, who will act entrepreneurially and actively shape the further development of the sales area. You are ambitious and outgoing and work pre-emptively 

You are very present in your sales area through intensive visits to your sales units and important customers and regularly travel to our head offices.  

 

Your skills 
  • Studies in process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable apprenticeship 
  • Solid experience in the management of sales units 
  • Experience in technical sales 
  • Experience in the wind industry 
  • Conceptual approach as well as acquisition strength and negotiation skills 
  • Knowledge of MS Office and the use of ERP systems 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German 
  • Communicative, assertive, team player 
  • Independent, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
